The Diversity Development Committee (DDC) is proud to introduce Youth On Their Own as this year‘s charitable organization for the 2021 PACRAO conference. Youth On Their Own supports the high school graduation and continued success of youth experiencing homelessness.
Through their efforts last year (July 1, 2019-June 30, 2020), the YOTO program served 2,176 homeless or unaccompanied youth in Pima County by issuing stipends for students with good grades & attendance, bus passes, basic needs such as non-perishable food items, hygiene items, school supplies, etc. Students can shop for all of these items for free at the Mini Mall. Their guidance and the removal of these barriers supports youth experiencing homelessness to stay in school and reach their goal of high school graduation. The program seeing an 84% graduation rate among their student participants.

This year, we are excited to announce that all donations made by PACRAO conference attendees will be entered into a raffle for the opportunity to win one of three gift card prizes. In order to be considered for the raffle, donations must be submitted by Tuesday, November 2nd by 5:00pm PST.
(Note: some people have reported a problem with the donation link if they are using a VPN. If you turn off your VPN for a moment to access the link, it should work.)
